Berlin life would be so much less exciting without my dear Gisela, another fellow American expat.

Gisela is the go-to writer for the NYTimes, T Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar US, Elle Décor and many more, when it comes to anything Europe related.

She is a super smart, curious super woman, which made her the decorated journalist she is today.

When she goes on writing assignments, she calls them ‘missions’ which makes me think of her as this female James Bond roaming around Europe, meeting and visiting the most interesting people and places.

She loves adventure, but thankfully one of her adventures (moving briefly back to the States) was short-lived and we have her back.

Watch her space as she has big (secret) plans … she really is like a James Bond on a mission.
