Yolanda is a writer, editor, media executive and founder of Yolo Journal, the best travel magazine that ever existed!

After having left the corporate world behind, she and her husband Matt Hranek both started their own magazines (Yolo Journal and WM Brown), which allows them to travel and explore the world together and to create the exceptional content for both their magazines.

Yolanda’s discerning eye for design, architecture, food and anything travel related is the result of her previous work experiences at Conde Nast Traveler, Martha Stewart Living, Cookie Magazine and W magazine.

We share a common love for the Greek islands and reunite in the summer on one of the islands – Covid permitting. (She even speaks Greek!)
I hope we can resume our tradition this summer!
